It is really exciting to be working with such young and ambitious business minded personalities in a local startup. Life in general offers you so many challenges and how you deal with those truly defines your character. We have been gaining invaluable industry experience dealing with business related difficulties that arise daily and we are looking to scale and automate the business for rapid growth.
The second set of underwear samples have arrived and much to the excitement of the team they were very good quality; a massive relief. Creating a luxury innovative brand in mens fashion provides many challenges, but it keeps the mind healthy as the business continues to evolve. Gent has been lucky enough to find its lucky number; 4. Everything seems to happen in 4's so, naturally, we are going to engrain this method into everything we do; for instance
- 4 seasonal collections
- 4 fabrics
- 4 designs
- Launched on the 4th day of the month
- Sold in packs of 4
Having selected the 4 fabrics and designs we want to launch with, now we wait for clarification from the factories, whether its achievable within our budget, wait to receive samples and if they suffice, commence large scale production of sustainable luxury mens underwear.
Having great content creates interest and a sense of reliability. Having a good collection of stored works puts you in a good position to stay on top of your game. If something happens in the world or in your market that was unexpected, and you happen to have a photoshoot or video footage of something newsworthy or topical, then you will be ahead of the pack. As a small business with little funds this will be difficult, but we're ambitious and driven, so the sooner we start the better. We are currently looking to work with young and creative people across a variety of fields including photography and videography, modelling, social media and graphic designers plus more, all play pivotal roles in business. If this sounds like you, send us an email, we'd love to hear from you. Hopefully we can negotiate a contract with a drone company this week and start shooting some quality content for all to see.
Gent’s story refers to the difficulties that young and ambitious University graduates have trying to land their first job with little to no industry experience. We have made the decision to work predominantly with inexperienced people looking to build a portfolio and get exposure in their industry. This will flow into our internet marketing campaigns, working with fashionable male influencers with less than 100,000 followers on Instagram. This will take more time, but rather than reaching the masses at once, we would rather choose the right niche audiences and build trust and repeat customers. Challenge accepted.
